She sat down at the table for two.

‘When do we start.. the.. umm,’ he stammered.

‘Today.’

‘Flawless,’ he thought, holding the baby close as he walked out of the building.

The cryogenic chamber slowly closed shut.

The production line was buzzing with rows of baby-machines hooked to monitors.

No one saw the possessive gleam in her wide-open eyes beneath the glass.
‘Zahra, Hussein, Latika, Jason and sweet little Abigail.’
